System setting:

Activating the basic setting at the storage type level for the put-away split option will greatly enhance efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations. The capacity for each storage type will be determined at the storage type level in order to accurately identify the demand from each storage type. This allows for efficient management of inventory.

To achieve this, it is important to configure the search strategy sequence and update the product master at the storage type level. By doing so, individual demands and capacities can be accurately identified.

For example:

• Storage Type 0028 has a capacity of 50 pieces (Sequence -1)
• Storage Type 0029 has a capacity of 40 pieces (Sequence -2)
• Storage Type 0030 has a capacity of 40 pieces (Sequence -3)

When it comes to putting away tasks, the system will intelligently split them accordingly. It will create product work tasks for both intermediate and final storage types, ensuring smooth operations throughout the process.
